Résumé : |
Most of the traffic paints are used for channelisation of multilane roads, and this involves solid center lines, solid edge lines and intermittent (dash or skip) lanes dividers. Directional arrows, cross walks, school warnings and the like also consume large volumes of paint. There are several methods for marketing highways. There is a paint composition available which is heated at 140°C-250°F and released from a closed system and sprayed on the road surface in order to mark the road and permit the paint to dry quite rapidly in less than one minute. This requires separate heat source and equipment and hence is not economical. However, because paint does an excellent job at low cost, it is the preferred method by a wide margin. Paint is easily transported to the application site ready to use, can be conveniently applied by brushing or with simple spray equipment and will last the full season in the most environments. |
