Load cell capacity in this apparatus is large (up to 12N) and three samples can be run simultaneously.
We have used this apparatus to measure changes in the thermal stability of collagen in red deer skin as a consequence of their method of preservation. Reproducible HIT curves wre obtained after raising the temperature from 25°C to 95°C at a rate of 1.0°C/min. Changes in the collagen stability were evident when different treatments were compared.
Data obtained from HIT curves should find useful application in leather technology since it provides rapid and precise information on the stable state of collagen reticulation in skin samples.En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1buD9uX0PzLi-O_IB9RmXo2C8Sxyu8TiS/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=8833
