In recent years, protective coating systems are being selected by various consultants on the basis of the results of accelerated test methods. It is expected that the system which has been selected on this basis of which would last 5 to 10 years in a corrosive environment. In this paper, an attempt has been made to highlight some advance accelerated testing methods which are being considered as standard test methods globally for selection of paint systems. |
