Titanium dioxide pigments have acquired a dominant market position amongst the various white pigments. World production has increased in the past seventy years to some 4.5 million tonnes TiO2 per annum. As a result of the many and diverse applications for this pigment on a broad range of markets, global titanium dioxide consumption has become an economic indicator of high informational value. |
