Solvants organiquesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The chemistry and areas of application for powder coatings have steadily evolved since their introduction in the 1960s. As a result, their share of the industrial coatings market has continually increased. Their current and future evolution are reviewed. Powder offer many technical advantages, but may have to face major challenges such as reduction of energy use in curing and further enhancing exterior durability. Note de contenu : - Economy in use creates several niche applications
- Automotive applications are among the most demanding
- Wet and dry manufacturing processes compared
- Energy demands raise environmental questions
- Technical aspects of modern powder coatings
- The quest for safer crosslinkers
- Maximising exterior durability
- Further developments and limitations consideredEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uHuJxr-TipvHT128C6K5KBu7jHN6j75R/view?usp=drive [...]

ViscosimétrieIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The rheological demands placed on automotive coatings are severe. A new class of rheology modifier known as PMPU (Polyether-Modified Polymeric Urea) provides the required fast pseudoplastic recovery of structure after spraying, as well as high temperature stability to prevent sagging during cure. A combination with a polyamide thickener can optimise performance. Note de contenu : - Main rheological requirements in automotive systems
- Main types of rheology modifiers
- New chemistry offers high-temperature stability
- Application-specific evaluations
- Some principles of rheological measurement
- Effects of temperature on rheology compared
- Combined additives optimise performance
- An effective additive for high-temperature curing.En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ETEOnNvvdzAqPJLEiXe_jPrD0T-GT2HA/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=10602
