Résumé : |
Increasing labour cost, higher service life expectations, application safety and environmental compulsions have led to the development of several high performance coatings based on new chemistries for the project as well as maintenance segment of the protective coating industry. Most of these new generation coatings are being increasingly popularised in the post nineties due to their superior performance, cost effectiveness in relation to overall service life, ease of application, productivity and operator's safety. The present article would deal specifically on some of the emerging products and chemistries for the high performance industrial coatings. |
