Résumé : |
UV-coatings are formulated with 100% reactive liquid vehicles such as oligomers, monomers, photoinitiator and additives. If we are relating free radical-initiated polymerisations to photo-induced ionic reactions, the later process has some advantages over former, like ionic-polymerisation can be used to cure saturated monomers of the epoxide, cyclic ether, sulphide, acetal, lactone, as well as vinyl type monomers. The advantage of curing saturated monomer such as epoxy resin over the unsaturated types is that the former have only a small volatility, goodflow, (owing to lowrheological characteristics) no significant colour, negligible toxicity and superb physical and chemical properties. |
