Résumé : |
In this paper recent developments achieved by NeoResins in solvent and water-based polyurethane resin technologies targeted for laminating ink applications are discussed in detail. The trend in solvent-based laminating inks towards more universal inks with respect to printing technology, substrates adhesion and adhesive choice is highlighted while a new member of the family of elastomeric polyurethane resins meeting these challenging demands is introduced. A new waterborne polyurethane resin technology for packaging film laminating inks is introduced. The first product within this new technology combines excellent printability, compatibility and adhesion properties, resulting in high bond strengths of the final laminate. The introduction of the new and innovative laminating ink resins provides the ink formulator with new opportunities to meet the challenging demands of the growing market of packaging film laminates. |
