Alkyd-amino, acid catalysed room temperature curing wood finishes are being marketed since many years. The performance of such coatings depends on the correct choice of resins, acid catalyst, solvents, accelerators and their proportions. To find out best locally available ingredients, giving optimum performance as required by the modern wooden furniture industries, not only best raw materials, but its correct formulations is utmost required. To investigate this SYNPOL thought to take up this project in their R&D laboratory. |
