Over the last 30 years, most commonly used problem solving tool has undoubtedly been the Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy. It can be applied for gases, solids, liquids and even for coatings on metal parts. In this paper, the author has discussed the application of FTIR in some common areas in the field of coating industry. |
