Résumé : |
This article is a brief review of the metal catalysis in the field of polyurethane coatings. It generally covers the mechanism, kinetics and application of the metal catalysts developed so far. Organometallic tin compounds have served the industry for a long time as metal catalysts. Keeping in mind the environmental concern great emphasis has been given on the latest development of the non-tin metal catalysts - their advantages and short comings. A review on the trouble shooting has also been included keeping in view the application prospects.
This paper consists several pictorial views to strengthen the facts and observations, which are the pillars of further developments. |
