Résumé : |
Due to their versatility, batch vessels are mostly used to make speciality chemicals products such as paints and coatings. Their high specific plant hold-up has however a detrimental effect on the cleaning and disposal processes. Furthermore, they have a high energy demand since heat integration is mostly not economically viable. Writing ink is used to show that resource efficiency is increased by converting batch to continuous manufacturing. Using micro components, the micro conti production becomes economically viable even for low product capacities. |
