Surfaces fonctionnellesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : An electrochemical biosensor for organophosphorus pesticides detection has been developed by immobilizing acetylcholinesterase (AChE) enzyme, through a multi-step functionalization process, on porous silicon (PSi) surface. The PSi surface was functionalized using thermal hydrosilylation creating acidic chains to stabilize the surface. The AChE was covalently attached on the PSi surface and exhibited a good enzyme activity in the presence of its substrate acetylthiocholine iodide (ATI) by forming thiocholine. The response of the device shows a linear evolution over a wide concentration range of ATI from 0.15 to 0.65 mM with a good correlation coefficient. Furthermore, AChE revealed high affinity to its substrate ATI from calculated Michaelis–Menten constant (Km), which is about 0.249 mM. The effect of the organophosphorus pesticide malathion was monitored by measuring the current oxidation in ATI solution. After incubation, it shows a drastic decrease in the electrochemical response in the presence of the pesticide at different concentrations (2–8 nM). TriazinedithiolIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : In this work, an organic nanofilm was directly prepared on the metal (sintered NdFeB permanent magnet) surface by electrochemical polymerizing of functional triazinedithiol compound 6-(n-allyl-1,1,2,2-tetrahydroperfluorodecyl) amino-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-dithiol monosodium. The polymeric nanofilm was characterized by spectroscopic ellipsometry, static water contact angle meter, and atomic force microscopy. The chemical progress of electrochemical polymerization was studied by cyclic voltammetry. The film formation mechanism was investigated via X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared reflection spectroscopy and the results showed that the thiol groups play an important role in polymerization of the film on the substrate. This research may provide a basis for fabricating a triazinedithiol film on metal surfaces and have a promising future for expanding the application of depositing polymer films on metals. Index. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Graphene oxide (GO) was modified by 3-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (MPS) to obtain modified graphene oxide (MGO). MGO was dispersed in urushiol-formaldehyde polymer by mechanical mixing and ultrasonic dispersion, and MGO/urushiol-formaldehyde polymer (UFP) coatings with different MGO contents were fabricated. The microstructure, physico-mechanical properties, and electrochemical properties of the MGO/UFP composite coatings were investigated. The results indicated that the hardness, adhesion, and corrosion resistance of the MGO/UFP composite coatings were obviously enhanced compared with the pure UFP coatings. The hardness and the adhesion grade of the MGO/UFP composite coatings with 3.5 wt% MGO (GO, 1.5 wt%, and MPS, 2.0 wt%) reached 6H and 2, respectively. Additionally, GO connected with MPS by chemical bond and the well-dispersed MGO in UFP could significantly enhance the anticorrosion performance of the UFP coatings, which could result from bending the diffusion pathway of penetrant species in the UFP coating matrix. The porous carbon sheets are prepared with a relatively high surface area, and there are some partial micropores and mesopores in the well-interconnected macropores. The results show that the carbon sheets reveal a lower internai resistance in the 6mol L-1 KOH electrolyte used as a supercapacitor electrode. When the current density is 0.5A.g-1, ALCS-300 (Activated Leather Carbon Slices) obtains a specific capacitance of 136.5F.g-1. In addition, it has excellent cycle stability. After 5000 cycles at a current density of 1A.g-1, the specific capacity retention rate is 94.5%. Since it eliminates the need to add any chemical reagents and is low in cost during the carbonisation-activation (air) process, it does not require additional adhesives, conductive agents and current collectors during electrode assembly, which can further simplify the assembly process, so it provides a good alternative to carbon electrodes for energy storage device. SilanesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Modified montmorillonite/graphene oxide composites (AM@GO) were prepared by a hydrothermal method with silane coupling agent-modified montmorillonite (APTES@MMT) and combined with GO. The structures of the composites were characterized by FTIR, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, BET analysis, and SEM. The results showed that the composites had increased interlayer spacing and formed a loosely laminated stacked structure. The specific surface area (31.6863 m2/g) and pore volume (0.0104 cm3/g) of the composites increased. The hydrophobic and anticorrosive properties of the composite coatings were investigated and compared to the epoxy coating. The composite coatings (AM@GO/EP) had larger contact angles and smoother surfaces than the epoxy coating (EP). After 30 days of immersion, the value of |Z|0.01 Hz was approximately 1011 Ω cm2, which had changed slightly since initial immersion. Mechanistic analysis shows that the improved corrosion resistance of the composite coatings was due to the high specific surface area of the 2D material, the oxygen-containing groups of GO, the amino groups of APTES@MMT and the synergy between the MMT and the GO nanosheets.
