Résumé : |
Segmented polyurethane ureas were prepared with varying polyether diols, diisocyanates and chain extenders. The viscoelastic properties of these films were evaluated through dynamic mechanical and thermal analyzer (OMTA).The mechanical film properties such as tensile strength, adhesion strength and hardness were measured and related to chemical composition and cohesion of the hard segment. The degree of phase mixing was found to be dependent on the synthetic ingredient structure. Water vapor transmission measurements were carried out to find out and correlate permeability with structures. The results indicate that the combined analysis of the hard segment cohesion helps in correlating the structure to property relationship. |
