The volume of production at which this result is attained is the optimal one, and in a daily production, with maximal profit per unit product and overall, it is, above all, necessary to unambiguously define expression applicable in practice, which are obtained by appropriate investigations and by the application of mathematical analysis. This makes a contribution relevant to the function of development management, which is the goal of this paper.
In discussing the ratios in the above equation it is pointed out that the optimal daily production can be achieved by:
1)further rationalisation of operations,simplification of labour and increasing production as well as the relative fixed costs;
2)Better use of the available capacity,reducing the number of machines used,as well as the fixed costs;

Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : The author shows a method of using the balance criterion in elaborating operations by establishing a relationship between the sum of the time needed for motions or actions necessary for the processing of the product, and motions or actions necessary for the preparation and postponement of processing. As this ratio is approximately 1 : 1, it is possible to establish the labour rhythm, normal fatigue of the worker, as well as other criteria for evaluation. Therefore, the balance criterion could be considered as a more suitable and more objective criterion in determining criteria of elaborating operations.

Organisation du travailIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : In the organisation of production, this paper demonstrates the need to group similar operations according to workplaces on the production line with the aim of reducing monotony by job enlargement, to more efficiently utilise the workplaces at which operations are grouped together, to reduce the number of workplaces, thus decreasing fixed costs, leading to optimal daily production, etc.
The proposed method of grouping operations consists of a gradual (iterative) distribution of similar operations with the elimination of existing operations from the distribution.
