Three compositions of Hot Melt Thermoplastic Road Marking Paint have been prepared using rosin modified lac resin with 25%, 30%, and 35% binder content. The hot melt thermoplastic road marking paints were evaluated for their properties like softening point, luminance factor, cracking resistance, flow resistance, drying time and resistance to water, salt water and lubricating oil. The properties obtained were found to have within the limits of M. O.S. T. specifications meant for hot melt thermoplastic road marking paints. |
