Résumé : |
European Coatings Show 97 occupied four exhibition halls and the number of exhibitors was large and diverse. As in the past, producers of raw materials and semi-finished products for the paints and coatings industry were well represented. Walking through halls G and H in particular and also I and K, it became clear that the mechanical engineering and plant construction sector also had a strong presence, with products ranging from high-speed stirrers to filling technology for liquid paints, and from mixers to rotary feeds for powder coatings. The treatment stages for liquid and powder coatings are well known, in priciple, but it is always surprising how efficiency can be improved by varying and improving the details of familiar processes. This is achieved partly by improving or modifying machinery and plant, and partly by improved control and monitoring technology. |
