Résumé : |
The condensation of urea with formaldehyde and butyraldehyde leads to cycloaliphatic polymers. These are solid hard resins with unique characteristics. The resins are used as additive resins in many coatings systems. The extremely low viscosity of solutions helps lowering the VOC in coatings. The resins also improve hardness, gloss, UV resistance and weather resistance. Application areas of these resins are alkyds, vinyls, nitrocellulose, powder coatings and pigment preparations. |
