Given the high weather stability of modern automotive clear coats, laboratory accelerate tests are essential in the development of new coatings. This paper compares the results of accelerated weathering using two xenon arc exposures, differing only in the amount of shortwave UV-B light(=300nm or <300nm), with the results obtained from Florida weathering. The correlation between the results is evaluated using a Spearman ranking formula. |
