Résumé : |
The use of universal colourants in high solids alkyd paint systems can be quite difficult due to poor colour acceptance. In some cases titanium dioxide selection appears to have a minor influence on this property but in itself is not enough to overcome the problem. The most realistic approach to overcoming colour acceptance problems in high solids alkyds appears to be through modification of the colourants to optimise the dispersing/stabilising agents. This would create a more robust product that could still be compatible with other paint systems. |
