Flow behavior is one of the most important features of coating compositions, influencing their application and film formation. There is a wide range of rheological additives available to the formulator that usually can render liquid coating compositions the flow characteristics specific for their proper processing, shelf stability, application properties and defect-free end coatings. This article considers rheology control additives and their functions in paint and coatings. |
