The normally thought of coating is made of an organic resin, which may contain some inorganic materials (e.g as pigments). But ... there are coatings that are completely inorganic (or akmost so) in the final and useful form. Herein, multiple examples are shown for both protection and decoration forms of coatings, covering a 50 year period of experience. |
