Résumé : |
Surface-active agents which are specifically intended to intensify processes of dispersion of pigments and extenders (fillers) in liquid media and normally also contribute to the stabilization of consequent pigment suspensions are described as dispersing agents (pigment dispersants). Alike emulsifiers, intended to disperse resins and to stabilize resin dispersions, dispersing aids are normally specific for a type of liquid media (aqueous or non-aqueous), and in order to be efficient, dispersing aids are frequently required to be adjusted to dispersing conditions, nature of the treated pigment and other additives used in paint formulation. |
