Résumé : |
Polyurea liquid plastics, related to polyurethanes (PU) and applied using two-component spraying techniques, are increasingly becoming an alternative to conventional coatings such as epoxy, acrylic and polyester systems. Rapid curing, resistance to weathering and corrosion and the absence of solvents are among the advantages offered by polyurea systems. Thanks to the availability of a wide range of isocyanate and amine components, formulations may be tailored to specific applications. Out-standing material properties and developments in spraying technology mean that there are many other conceivable applications for polyurea spray coatings which are already under investigation. |
