Résumé : |
The development of polysiloxanes, which are designed specifically for powder coatings, has made it possible to formulate high temperature resistant coatings and coatings that need to be impact resistant. The combination of the correct pigment, extender and organic polymer used in the formulation will have a dramatic impact on the coatings performance at elevated temperatures. Phenyl silicone resins have the highest heat resistance, and therefore should be used where the service temperature will exceed 800°F (427°C). However, in applications where temperatures will exceed 1200 °F (650°C) and a powder coating line can be dedicated to this product a methyl resin should be used. |
