Résumé : |
How does colour arise from a pigmented coating? After a concise treatment of the fundamental Kubelka-Munk theory, this article describes the principles of colour measurement, the determination of colour differences according to the CIE and ClElab colour systems, and the colorimetric characterisation of pigments. Application possibilities of colour measurement in pigment production and processing are outlined |
