Résumé : |
Radiation curing adds speed and lower curing temperatures to the known advantages of powder coating systems. In particular, UV-radiation offers quick curing of powder coatings on thermally sensitive substrates, and the rapidly developing near infrared (NIR) curing allows extremely high curing rates with selective heating of the coating. The article describes curing mechanisms, state-of-the-art and first commercial applications of both technologies. |
