Résumé : |
Microfoam, its prevention and elimination is a major problem during paint production and application of water-based systems. Especially the airless spray application causes microfoam and its elimination sets high requirements for paint suppliers, manufactures and raw material suppliers. The article will discuss the parameters influencing the activity of dearetors against microfoam in water-based coating. It is explained and demonstrated how the specific composition of deaerators makes it possible to eliminate and prevent microfoam especially in airless applied coatings-without negative influence on optical appearance or physical film properties. |
