Matting of polymeric pigmented coatings decreases the gloss of surfaces and influences also the changes in the colour properties of coatings due to the processes occurring in the lacquer layer. For this reason, it is important to investigate the changes in the colour caused by adding a matting agent. In this work, the tendency of the changes in the optical properties is described and the optical processes affecting these alterations are discussed. |
