In masonry coatings, as in many other application fields, the most interesting binders are those which permit solvent-free paint formulation. This requirement can be achieved by reducing the M FFT of the paints' binder. Polymers which form a film below to 5°C make a solvent free paint formulation possible. The present work deals with experiments made with solvent-free masonry paints in comparison with solvent containing paints. The influence of the white pigment, titanium dioxide, on masonry paints Is also discussed. |
