Résumé : |
UV curing of coatings under inert, i.e. oxygen reduced, atmosphere is usually performed under nitrogen, with considerable process equipment. However, with heavier-than-air CO2 as the inert gas, excellent curing results can be obtained, in particular for 3D substrates, with very simple equipment - a CO2 bath and simple UVA lamps. With this technique, formulations can be greatly simplified and allow for much more variation. |
