Résumé : |
In last month's issue of ECJ a new concept called "thermoguard" was featured that could present enormous operational and economic gains for businesses when chiller condenser coils are protected against corrosion. Many industries such as mining, breweries, fertiliser plants, food processing operations and refineries, paper mills and petrochemical plants could dramatically reduce the rapid and costly energy loss caused by degrading heat exchanger units or uncoated coils in areas where both humidity and pollution cause rapid corrosion. Polyurethane coatings' specialists Eputan and Huntsman Polyurethanes present this new MDI - based coating for the heat exchanger market and explain the process behind its development. |
Note de contenu : |
- The pressure drop and heat conductivity parameters determline the performance of the coil
- The protective coating : chemical and abrasive resistant, flexible, UV and heat resistant
- Heat conducting coating solution
- Easy to handle and to apply
- Necessity to find the right functionality balance |
