Résumé : |
Dynamic Vapour Sorption has been evaluated as a novel efficacy-testing tool for determining the moisture retention properties of hair when treated with hydrolysed proteins. We have been able to demonstrate that hydrolysed proteins, when applied to hair from leave-on and rinse-off treatments, can increase the equilibrium moisture content of hair and also influence the kinetics of moisture tranfer. Studies have shown that certain hydrolysed proteins can reduce the rate of moisture uptake by hair at high relative humidity and reduce the rate of moisture loss at low relative humidity. |
