Résumé : |
Many advantages in high performance systems polyurethane dispersions are gaining more and more importance in the paint and coating industry. Some of the characteristics that have contributed to the growth of polyurethane dispersions include improved mechanical properties, high flexibility and tensile strength and stability in changing pH-values. These properties in addition to the nonpolluting characteristics of water based systems, make polyurethane dispersions unique. Various resin building blocks, especially the use of tailor made polyether diols influence positive the final properties of polyurethane dispersions. |
