Reactions between coating materials and the substrate often critically contribute to the coatings performance and service properties. The second part of this contribution reviews the most typical methods to coat energy-activated substrates, i.e. surfaces that are activated before being coating, either chemically (chemideposition), by heat (thermodeposition), or electrically (electrodeposition). |
